Red Heels
Red heels. There isn't any other color (Wiki) that elicits such reaction from people. It is the color of danger, passion, fire, chaos, rage, love, sensuality and much more. Is it any wonder then, that red heels are some of the most alluring heels on the market?
For a sure way to turn heads or add some spice to your outfit, very few shoes can do it like red heels can. They come in a multitude of different shades from cherry red, hot red, blood red to darker maroons and beyond. Whatever your poison, red is a color that can sometimes be overbearing on the outfit as it may draw too much attention which lessens that amount of "airtime" the rest of your outfit gets from the viewer.
So how do we solve this? Simple. You need to match well with red heels for full effect. Some like matching them equally "loud" colors for maximum effect. Others, like to make the shoes the center of attention. Either way, you'll have to choose the appropriate type of heels before you proceed any further.
Stilettos
For maximum impact, there's nothing better than red stiletto's. It combines the evocative colors that red represents with the sexiest footwear known to women's fashion. Stiletto's have the thinnest heels of any shoe and are usually used for shoes and boots. The term is borrowed from the stiletto dagger, which has a blade of similar shape to the heel. While there are many that call themselves stilettos, only those that possess stems that are made out of metal are true stiletto heels. Difficult to walk in particularly when the heel surpasses five inches or so, there is no better complement to the color than stiletto's.
High Heels
High heels are a step down from stilettos but they are some of the most popular forms of women's footwear in the market. Quite common, the various high heel designs on the market range from luscious to downright sexy. If you are uncomfortable in heels beyond 2.5 inches, there are always kitten heels that combine the great style of heels with the greater comfort. Either way, you can't go wrong with high heels.
Wedges
If you want something outside traditional heels, then there are always wedge heels. Wedges don't really have a heel as the sole of the shoe is made form a single piece, usually from cork or other types of materials. However, wedge heels are named as such if the back of the shoe is elevated, thus forcing the foot to lean forward. If you want red heels that are easier to walk in and much more comfortable, wedge heels may be the one for you. Overall, it doesn't really matter what type of red heels you choose. The effect is nearly the same on each and every one of them be they bright red or hot red shoes.
